SEN and Disability
Our School Ethos
At Bardfield Academy, we value the individuality of the children in our care. We are committed to giving every child the opportunity to achieve their full potential, and we do this by taking account of each individual’s life experiences and needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and have high expectations for all children, irrespective of ethnicity, faith, attainment, age, gender, disability or background.
Children with SEND are fully included in all aspects of school life. This includes after school activities, trips and in Year 6 a residential experience. The school plans well to meet the needs of all pupils so that they actively participate and have the same opportunities as children with no SEN/D.
